We are looking for a PHP Web Developer with 2-3 years industry experience in a web or software company.

Necessary Experience
Technical:
2+ years in a web or software company
- Strong programming background and knowledge of web technologies, object oriented programming and best practices
- Recent experience developing PHP websites using well-known content management frameworks such as Drupal, Joomla, ExpressionEngine or WordPress
- Excellent HTML, CSS knowledge and appreciation of web accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility
- JavaScript, including exposure to client-side libraries such as jQuery, YUI
- Apache configuration
- MySQL 5 - strong database development skills and ability to understand complex schemas
- A passion for web and software development and an ability/willingness to learn new technologies
Interpersonal:
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented
- Possess trouble shooting abilities
- Ability to learn new skills
- Excellent inter personal and communications skills
Desired/Plus:
- Knowledge of other web frameworks: ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, Struts etc
- Experience of PHP-based web application frameworks: Zend, CodeIgniter etc
- Server admin knowledge – Linux, Windows Server
- Experience leveraging external APIs such as Google Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Testing experience – Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing (PHPUnit), Mocking
Educational Requirements:
Third level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
